GovTech Lab Lithuania team is always looking for new opportunities to establish international partnerships and share the best practice among projects and programmes that work in GovTech and Tech For Good fields.

CivTech Alliance

Since March 2020, GovTech Lab Lithuania is a part of a worldwide CivTech Alliance network of public, private and third sector organisations spanning the GovTech, CivTech and CivicTech spectrum to support and nurture an ecosystem developing products and services which make citizens’ lives better.

Global Scale-Up Programme

In 2021, CivTech Alliance has established the CivTech Alliance COP26 Global Scale-up Programme. 8 governments and 3 academic/not-for-profit institutions across 10 countries have joined together to provide a unique access programme in the run up to, and during, COP26 in Glasgow in November 2021. In collaboration with the United Nations Development Program, the World Resources Institute and Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc, three challenges have been set relating to the COP26 goals around environmental resilience, food wastage and decarbonisation of commercial vehicles for fast-growth companies with global ambitions to solve.

For stakeholders across governments, NGOs, the climate change community, investors and sponsors this was an unique opportunity to collaborate with scale-ups across North America, South America, Europe and Australia to deliver real impact on climate change. For startups and scale-ups this was an opportunity to present their innovative solutions to the ecosystem stakeholders, policy-makers and investors worldwide.

This year,  3 Lithuanian startups were selected to take part in the Programme and have successfully presented their solutions in COP26 conference.
